Job Title: Production Mechanic

Location: Nashua, NH

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $29.00 - $38.00 

Schedule: 7am-7pm (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on swing shift schedule)

Job Summary:

Can One USA is seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties in accordance with Can One SOP, Safety Rules, and Safety Training.
• Start and stop production units as necessary.
• Perform machine setup, breakdown, cleaning, maintenance, and lubrication of various parts of the equipment.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Ensure equipment runs efficiently through necessary maintenance tasks.
• Identify and address product defects.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Adhere to all assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies.
• Work in varying climate and noise levels.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of job-related experience.
• Able to work in different temperature ranges.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to traverse the property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
• Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
• Able to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and regularly lift between 10-40 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to stand at workstation for the duration of the scheduled shift.
