Miller Products & Supply is now accepting applications for Assemblers in our Rebar Fabrication Shop.
Duties:
Assembly of rebar cages for use in concrete foundations
Position and secure steel bars, rods, cables, or mesh in pre-manufactured templates
Assist in cutting and bending of rebar into various lengths and shapes
Properly maintain tools and equipment
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
Familiarity with simple hand tools and cordless power tools
Ability to work without direct supervision, after initial training period
Forklift experience is a plus, but not necessary
Successful Candidates Will Also Possess These Attributes:
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs repetitively
Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, twist, squat, kneel
Must be energetic, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work well with others in a small team of 4-6 individuals.
