Description

Interim Healthcare is looking for compassionate Caregivers for our growing private duty team. As a caregiver you will work with clients one on one in the comfort of their own home. Working as a Caregiver is such an important and gratifying role. Our caregivers are often the difference maker for many seniors to be able to remain safe and secure in their home while maintaining their dignity, privacy, and independence.

What you'll do as a Caregiver:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, going to the restroom, changing, and feeding
  • General housekeeping activities
  • Meal preparation
  • Provide transportation assistance to and from activities and appointments
  • Offer compassionate companionship to clients

Requirements

A good Caregiver candidate will bring with them:

  • Caregiving experience either in life or working as a professional caregiver
  • CNA certification preferred but not required
  • Comfortable working in an in-home setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent people skills – Must have a heart for people
  • Kindness, compassion and patience
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Valid driver license and dependable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
