Job Summary:
TheHome Medical Equipment Technician must be knowledgeable of all equipment andsupplies provided by Home Medical and uphold its standard for excellence. Responsible for competent, efficient, andfriendly delivery and set up of equipment and supplies to customers in theirhomes. Responsible for equipment checks, educationto clients and their families/caregivers, service, cleaning, documentation, and safeguardingcompany assets while in their care. Must be able to assist with administrative aspectsas well including answering phones, scheduling, and appropriate documentation.
Physical Qualifications: In an average 8-hour day the employee lifts/carries upto 65 pounds frequently, stands/walks for 3hours, and sits for 1hour. (These hours include up to 1hours of data entry/phone work.) and drives up to 4 hours.
Essential Qualifications: Must be an experienced driver with a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record, be detailed oriented, have good verbal and written communication skills, and good computer/keyboard skills. Must be able to handle a heavy phone load, work independently without supervision, and be able to maintain confidentiality. Required to function as a polite and cooperative team memberwith a positive attitude and be sensitive to people characteristics with a desireto help others.
