Universal Custom Remodeling seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Carpentry Apprentice to join our team. As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced carpenters in all aspects of carpentry work. This includes measuring and cutting materials, assembling structures, installing fixtures and fittings, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with measuring and cutting materials
• Assist with assembling structures
• Assist with installing fixtures and fittings
• Assist with the installation of tile
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Learn and develop new skills and techniques
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some prior carpentry experience is preferred but not required
• Strong math skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradesmen
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug test
