Job Title: Compliance Coordinator

A business consulting firm with national expertise but local focus is seeking a who has a strong desire to help clients. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to learn new software easily and quickly. Strong written and verbal skills are needed, as is the ability to prioritize multiple client needs.

Job Description:

• Non-employee compensation form preparation
• County Property tax returns
• City business licenses
• Workers comp audits, other misc. audits
• Corporate and individual tax return preparation
• Inputting and processing
• Tax planning – Corporate&Individual
• Analyzing client financial records
• Attend & prepare for monthly & quarterly client meetings
• Bookkeeping and Bank reconciliations
• Updating debt schedules
• Tax Research
• Sending client correspondence and requesting additional information
• Incorporations and liquidations
• Tax season preparation
• Edit & create processes
• Other small miscellaneous duties including data entry

Requirements:

• Accounting degree (or 3 years relevant experience)
• CPA or EA candidate a plus
• Ideal applicant will have high people skills and a desire to help clients
• Organization and multitasking skills
• QuickBooks Online knowledge necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $37,500.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
