SummaryAs the Manager, Titles you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to securing loans with vehicle titles within our organization. This pivotal role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of legal requirements and documentation process pertaining to vehicle titles.
Essential Duties
- Title Processing: Efficiently manage the title processing workflow from the moment a vehicle is used for collateral until the payoff of the loan; ensuring timely and accurate completion of all title-related tasks.
- Documentation Management: Ensure the team maintains meticulous records of all vehicle titles, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies. This is includes organizing, verifying, and securely storing title documents.
- Title Transfers: Oversee the transfer of vehicle titles between the consumer and organization, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Title Research: Conduct thorough research to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to vehicle titles, working closely with relevant departments and external agencies as needed.
- Compliance: Stay abreast of all state and federal regulations pertaining to vehicle titling and registration processes, ensuring full compliance at all times.
- Customer Service: Ensure team provides exceptional customer service by addressing title-related inquiries or concerns from customers, colleagues, or external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience working in title processing or similar role within consumer lending or financial services
- At least 2 years of experience working in a supervisory or leadership role
- Experience working with DMV’s or third-party title processing company
