GRODAN, part or ROCKWOOL Group, is seeking a Retail Brand Manager, East, to join the GRODAN Sales Team. The territory for this role will cover major markets including New England to the Mid Atlantic and parts of the Midwest and requires up to 50% travel. The ideal candidate will be based in the greater Detroit or NYC areas. This role will report to the National Retail Brand & Distribution Manager and has no direct reports. The Retail Brand Manager is responsible for managing and executing the sales activities of the US Retail sales and brand strategy. This includes retail sales direct and indirect, brand awareness & reputation, customer marketing, product marketing implementation, customer visits and education, and to generate GRODAN sales through developing and maintaining relationships with retail customers and other stakeholder(s) within the cannabis and retail markets. What You Will Be Doing Execution of the assigned territory retail sales and marketing strategy for new and existing customers with key stakeholder segments in distribution and retail sales. Aid in distribution sales activities as it relates to retail sales, product launches, education, and market intelligence Manage approved direct retail sales relationships direct customers to ensure sales growth, partnerships, education, and marketing actions Provide education and overall brand awareness at retail level Execute retail sales plan that supports operational sales and promotional activity, enabling the sales effort in all key channels (including trade shows, customer/channel promotions, training and presentations) Manage retail store inventory levels and ensure maximum product availability at the retail level Lead Generation: In close collaboration with Commercial team, manages lead generation Collaborate with the Product Management team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally Collaborate with marketing to execute planned marketing campaigns for retail and distribution environments including point of purchase materials, product launching, website management, educational platforms, tradeshows, and more Provide insights, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to translate results into actionable insights What You Bring 3 years of experience working in cannabis market Experience working with retail indoor growing stores Experience with cultivation preferred within CEA environments Customer minded & analytical/insights driven Good written and presentation skills Highly skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines Travel of up to 35% What We Offer Competitive Salary Generous Benefits - Effective your first day!
