Inside Salesperson AAA Roofing, Inc. is a commercial/ industrial roofing contractor headquartered in Riverside, CA and operating in several Western states. Specializing in new construction, existing building re-roofs, tenant improvements, maintenance, and leak detection. Under the direct leadership of founder Gene Smith, today it is one of the leading roofing companies having installed over 150 million square feet of roof surface. Since its formation in 1989, we have continued to flourish as the Western States’ most experienced roofing contractors. The success behind that reputation is due in part to the excellent level of service offered by the company. We are currently seeking a superb Inside Salesperson who is highly driven, goal-oriented, and self-motivated. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining client and vendor relations and performing a variety of tasks, including establishing new business, negotiating contracts, and closing the deal on new construction projects, re-roofs, and TI's. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the roofing industry and personality traits such as sales grit, the gift of gab, persistence, competitiveness, resilience, and precision. Essential Functions : Reasonable accommodation s may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: Identify, research and document potential clients Identify, evaluate, and document potential opportunities Track, manage, prioritize, and develop win strategies for potential opportunities, ensuring they meet AAA Roofing’s objectives and targets Develop relationships and structure teaming and contract terms with customers Actively qualify the opportunities and furnish proposals Actively participate and assist with internal processes and approvals as necessary for bidding Think outside of the box to offer clients new approaches, ideas and strategies suited to AAA Roofing’s strengths Participate in negotiations Help define and close partnerships, contracts and final terms and conditions Promote AAA Roofing’s identity and brand Selling profitable work Desired Skills, Experience & Abilities Guidelines Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Written skills include the ability to write proposals and other correspondence. Verbal skills include the ability to speak to others, excellent telephone skills, and outstanding interpersonal skills Extremely competitive Self-motivated Good understanding of the building construction market Good knowledge of the larger design firms and regional contractors who have operations in the regions Demonstrated business development skills and experience Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills Computer knowledge and efficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products Previous experience with bid software such as Edge Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality Ability to understand and follow detailed directions Ability to work on/manage multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously Innovative thinker and constantly thinking ahead Functions effectively individually and as part of a team Closer and effective negotiator Good time management skills and organization skills 5 years of demonstrated sales experience Must have proven track record in sales Professionalism Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Must be able to travel Work Environment : This job operates in a business casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Job also requires job site visits that include outdoor environment conditions. Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. Position may also be exposed to heights or confined spaces. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time salaried exempt position.
