Responsibilities:
1. Making Sales: As a Sales Representative at Metro by T-Mobile, your primary focus will be on driving sales by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the most suitable products and services to meet those needs.
2. Offering the Latest Promos: You will be responsible for staying informed about the latest promotions, discounts, and offers available at Metro by T-Mobile and effectively communicating and promoting them to customers to maximize sales opportunities.
3. Selling Beyond Smartphone Items: In addition to smartphones, you will be tasked with promoting and selling other products such as tablets and home internet services, showcasing the diverse range of offerings available to our customers.
4. Inserting Sales into Dots Properly: Accurately inputting sales data into our system, ensuring that all transactions are recorded correctly, and meeting the daily deadline for inputting sales to ensure accurate commission calculations.
5. Meeting Sales Targets: You will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets set by Metro by T-Mobile, demonstrating a proactive approach to driving revenue and achieving personal and team sales goals.
6. Providing Excellent Customer Service: Delivering excellent customer service is a key aspect of this role, as you will be the face of Metro by T-Mobile, building positive relationships with customers and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
7. Collaborating with Team Members: Working collaboratively with your team members to share best practices, offer support, and collectively achieve sales objectives is essential for success in this role.
8. Continuous Learning and Development: Engaging in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance, ensuring you stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry.
- Communicate effectively with customers in English and potentially in Spanish.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience with outbound calling is advantageous
- Proficient in data entry and computer systems
- Multilingual abilities are a bonus
Pay Information:
- Hourly wage: $15.50 to $16.00 (17.50-18.50 assistant manager)
- Additional commission opportunities based on sales performance
