Citrine Group is Hiring a Quality Assurance Associate Near Boerne, TX

We are currently seeking a full-time Receiving Associate to join our team at our Distribution Center in Boerne, Texas. This position is responsible for receiving, storing and coordinating the distribution of merchandise for local retail businesses. Candidates should be able to work in-person, as part of a team and independently, and possess a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing merchandise by recording data such as specifications, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting or record keeping purposes
  • Prepare items for distribution by packing, sealing, addressing and affixing postage
  • Unpack, inspect and record incoming merchandise or material
  • Arrange for the transportation of products
  • Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or non-conformance to specifications
  • Store new or transferred merchandise in an orderly and accessible manner (i.e. shelves, racks, cases and bins)
  • Request and store packing and distribution materials and supplies to maintain an inventory of stock
  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and manage frequent interruptions
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, neat and organized environment
  • Protect company assets and maintain a safe work environment
  • Follow all company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal employment laws

Requirements

  • Formal or informal education that ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook) to maintain records, input data, and create reports
  • Previous retail merchandise handling or receiving experience preferred
  • Experience with lift operations preferred
  • Available to work Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; including occasional holidays and weekends
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle challenges and resolve inventory issues involving multiple variables
  • Written and verbal communication skills, time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to traverse distribution center and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching
  • Must be able to complete various activities that may require up to 7 hours of standing and carrying
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at a time

Applicant Information

The candidate selected for the position must receive satisfactory results from pre-employment background checks and motor vehicle record evaluation.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
