ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under general supervision, must exercise knowledge to perform a variety of job duties relating to the proficient testing and determination of product conformance to specifications, ATP and drawing requirements including but not limited to:

a. Set up, adjust and operate laboratory equipment and instruments per lab procedures, and specifications required by contract, ensuring proper instrument calibration.
b. Conduct Lot Acceptance and qualification tests in accordance with requirements and specifications
c. Performs metallurgical examinations including, but not limited to, micro-examination
d. Document results and procedures as required
e. Evaluate test results and accept or reject material or production lots.
f. Adhere to all PB company policies
g. Other duties as assigned

In addition to the above, Laboratory Technicians are to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices. Management may change responsibilities and/or assignments to meet the business needs without prior notice. PB follows an At-Will Employment practice.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED, and certificate from a technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Language: ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to verbally communicate effectively.
2. Reasoning Ability: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral or diagram form.
3. Analytical: Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data
4. Ability to read and interpret router instructions and specifications
5. Properly use measuring tools

TEMP TO HIRE:

This position is temp to hire.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $23.25 - $34.75 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
