Pay: $27-33/hr.

Scope of Role:

This role will be responsible for all aspects of machine repair, machine preventive maintenance, building maintenance including general plumbing and electrical repair. The individual will be expected to perform a wide variety of maintenance and repair work on production machinery with welding. Given that this role is part of a dynamic and evolving team, there is room for both personal and career development for an individual who shows commitment to the role and takes the initiative to engage in unassigned projects.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate record keeping of work orders
• Ensure machines are prepared for operation following protocols and procedures and performs regular technical testing
• Execute routine maintenance on machines; replaces or repairs machine belts, rollers, bearings, or other parts; removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste materials from machines; paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion
• Ensure projects, tasks and PMs are executed on time
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment/facility items and document in PM program
• Follow all safety policies including lock-out/tag out procedures
• Carry out facilitates maintenance upkeep and grounds work as needed
• Notify Maintenance Manager of low equipment and supply inventory levels
• Meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Assist in managing hazardous waste program/chemical storage
• Use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain equipment
• On-call services may be required for emergencies and/or lockouts during nights or weekends
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• 5 years of experience
• Electro-mechanical experience
• General computer skills required (Microsoft Office)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift/move 50lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent
