General Job Description

• Responsible for planning and implementing the daily routines of the toddler room engaging toddlers in developmental activities
• Assist lead teacher with ensuring the safety of the infants/toddlers by performing daily tasks.
• Ability to handle the demands of infants and toddlers in different stages.
• Be highly organized with the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Ensure a safe and structured learning environment.
• Empathetic to children's emotions and parent's needs.
• Execute daily lessons that support social, emotional, physical, & intellectual growth of each child.
• Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
• Proficient writing skills and use of technology to deliver child progress to parents and other teachers.
• Be creative, passionate about your work and have fun.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (Required)
• Teaching: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
• ADA Certification (Preferred)
• Supporting Breastfeeding Certification (Preferred)
• 45 or 90 hour Infant & Toddler Certification (Preferred)
