Description:
As a Wellbeing Support Person you will be required to stay onsite and respond to resident call outs, attend to resident requests, support the retirement living team, undertake first aid and, if required, seek further assistance from emergency services. This role requires overnight onsite stays, however some weekday and weekend shifts are available.
You will work and be paid ($24.93 per hour) for hours between 4.45pm - 7.45pm and 6.15am - 8.45pm. Outside of these hours, you are required remain onsite in accommodation provided by Garden Village to be able to respond to any resident emergency / calls. You be paid for any emergency call out time at the applicable penalty/overtime rate in addition to a per night sleepover allowance (currently $53.84 paid regardless of if any calls are received).
Your main tasks during the paid work hours, will include:

• Wellbeing checks on residents
• Call bell response
• Retirement Living letterbox drops
• Internal deliveries

During sleepover shift between (7.45pm - 6.15am) you are not required to work (unless a emergency call is received) and therefore can relax, watch tv, study or sleep - as long as you respond in a timely manner to calls if and when they are received.
