Classic Disposal is a dumpster rental company with dumpster yards in Wakefield, MA. We are currently hiring drivers full-time CDL Class B to deliver and pickup dumpsters throughout eastern MA and southeastern NH.
We are currently looking for drivers to work day shifts.

I. Job Summary
Roll-off drivers safely operate a heavy-duty truck and are responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large mobile open top containers to dumps, transfer stations, and both residential and commercial customer locations. Roll-off drivers will navigate driveways, lots, and high-traffic roadways. Highly-skilled backing maneuvers are essential to successfully perform this job.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, each driver must be able to perform every essential duty. Other minor duties may be assigned. You will:

• Operate a vehicle in accordance with Classic Disposal rules, DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements, and all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and document checks on standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report.).
• Immediately report any unsafe situations or service related issues to Dispatch.
• Attend and participate in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings required by Classic Disposal.
• Work closely with Dispatch to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
• Notify Dispatch of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
• Notify Dispatch of service interruptions, including blocked containers, closed lots, street, or potential safety hazards.
• Communicate customer requests to the office or Dispatch.
• Identify and report all containers in need of repair or replacement
• Complete and submit customer tickets as required.
• Position container on the customers property in a manner that ensures doors are properly placed and do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
• Follow route assignments as directed and complete the end of day documentation process.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by Dispatch and assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job:
A. Education and Experience

• Education: Not required
• Experience: One (1) year of previous experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last seven (7) years.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

• Commercial Drivers License B (CDL).
• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with an air brake endorsement.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

• Acceptable driving record required.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical.
