The Accounting Specialist supports the President and the Financial Consultant with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. They manage payroll, expenses, customer invoices and receivables, and other accounting tasks as necessary in a fast-paced environment. This position also supports the Sales Team with customers' contracts and customer financing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain accounts receivable, manage aging reports, and follow up as needed.
• Create and send invoices and credit memos.
• Assist with posting various payments via cash, check, ACH, credit card, etc.
• Assist with Accounts Payable by processing payments reconciling and reviewing vendor statements.
• Match invoices to purchase orders.
• Assist with bank reconciliation.
• Assist with process development.
• Assist with basic payroll approval procedure.
• Assist President with reconciliation of expense reports and maintenance of company credit card usage
• Support project documentation and maintain communication with Financial Consultant and others, as necessary
• Work closely with sales staff to ensure accuracy of customers' contracts with delivery in a timely manner. This includes preparation and management of quotes, contracts, and sales presentations.
• Manage customer financing.
• Manage all rebate programs with manufacturers.
• Maintain vehicle details.
• Leverage QuickBooks online.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant accounting experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting strongly preferred, or experience in lieu of
• QuickBooks Online experience required (Pro or Advanced preferred)
• Mature personality - go getter, sense of urgency, independent
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to improve current processes and flexibility to adapt
• Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
• Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
• Must be able to work well in a team environment
