We are seeking a skilled Residential Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the construction process. As our Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects by providing accurate and competitive estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Analyze and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions.
• Prepare and present estimate reports to the project team and clients.
• Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in high-end residential construction.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and costs.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst).
• BuilderTrend Proficiency highly regarded (Willingness to learn also considered)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
