Qualifications
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in human services-related field preferred.
- Minimum of four years experience working with residents with memory loss in an assisted living or long-term care community.
- Minimum of two years experience serving in a lead or supervisory position.
Physical Job Requirements
To fulfill job requirements, the team member must be able to perform key physical tasks for extended periods. When supporting, lifting, or transferring residents, proper body mechanics and safety measures must be used as prescribed by the residence.
In a typical eight-hour day, team member may:
- Stand/walk up to eight hours a day
- Sit up to eight hours a day
- Frequently support up to 70 pounds
- Frequently lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequently kneel, bend, and reach
