Successful, growing Middletown, NY Injury Law Firm seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our attorneys in managing cases and supporting our litigation efforts. Duties

- Conduct research and gather information for personal injury cases .
- Prepare legal documents and draft pleadings, including complaints, bills of particulars, and motions.
- Assist in the preparation of legal files, including organizing and maintaining documents, and ensuring that all relevant paperwork is complete.
- Manage and maintain document management systems to ensure easy access to case materials.
- Provide clerical support to the legal team, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, depositions, court appearances, and performing general administrative tasks.
- Assist in the preparation for trials, including preparing exhibits and other evidence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of case progress and correspondence with clients and other parties.

Qualifications

- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. paralegal studies, law) or experience as a paralegal.
- Experience with legal drafting, document management systems, and proofreading is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of personal injury law is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
