Caring Professionals AFC Group Home is Hiring a Group Home Manager Near Bloomfield, MI

Caring Professionals AFC Group Homes is looking for a motivational Group Home Manager / Care Leader to manage our residential group homes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all residential care staff-related functions at the assigned house site.
  • Monitors and maintains employee scheduling and time worked.
  • Manages house site budget, supplies management, meal plan, etc.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and small maintenance.
  • Communicates with all internal and external clinical, medical, and regulatory services.
  • Attends resident's questions, concerns, and maintains regular interaction.
  • On-call responsibilities, maybe shared with other qualified residential care staff
  • Adheres to Core Values, Mission, and State guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Education & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of college coursework in business, social science, or a related human service discipline strongly preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ previous leadership experience working in a healthcare or behavioral healthcare-related field required.
  • 1-2 years’ previous management or supervisory experience required.
  • Required to maintain industry-required training and TB screenings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates all core competencies related to residents needs, dementia, etc.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English language required.
  • Ability to use office equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

  • Group home

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed
