We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development.

```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar

```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental assisting techniques, and procedures
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Proficiency in medical coding and documentation
- Knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dentistry
- Familiarity with medical imaging technology used in dentistry
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols

* CDA and RDA are not a requirement, however, active XRAY license is required.

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
