Carter Concrete is Hiring a Concrete Finisher Near Tooele, UT
We are now hiring experienced concrete finishers to work in our fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for sweeping, troweling and finishing concrete surfaces to prepare them for tile installation. Candidates must have prior experience in creating smooth and attractive concrete surfaces with a trowel and broom, and must be motivated to work on a team and solve logistical issues promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Work according to construction specifications.
- Work with concrete in all temperature conditions, and in all weather conditions.
- Use hand and power tools to work with concrete.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Read blueprints.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in concrete forming and finishing
- Experience with hand and power tools in construction settings
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and construction estimating
- Ability to read blueprints and work on renovation projects
- Familiarity with hardscape, rebar installation, and concrete mixing
- Skills in carpentry, roofing, drywall, and trim carpentry are a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
