Our goal is a safe and understanding environment for those individuals using medicinal marijuana to improve their lives on the whole.

Position Summary

Fresh Karma’s Cannabis Dispensary, located in Parkville, MO is a growing cannabis dispensary seeking a full-time Security Guard Lead Supervisor to join our team. The right candidate for this role is a self-starter and team player, who can maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel, playing an important role in building and sustaining a first-class customer experience as we grow our business. This person also needs to have strong leadership abilities and can either be the lead of one location or multiple if selected as the Lead Supervisor. The store lead will maintain a safe and secure environment for their particular location and handle staffing, scheduling, discipline and direct and schedule all required trainings and commissions for their store. The Lead Supervisor will be the head of the security department that will coordinate and guide all security efforts in the dispensaries, lab and grow facilities.

Key Position Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances
• Other duties as assigned
• The Ability to obtain ant retain any and all licenses needed for the position.
• Scheduling
• Staffing abilities to evaluate and hire new officers
• Management capabilities work toward successfully building and maintaining a successful and thriving security team

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must have a Security License with authorization to carry a firearm issued by the KC Missouri Board Of Police Commissioners
• Must obtain and retain a state Facility Agent Identification Card
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry
• Ability to work well as part of a team or independently
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
