GSI is looking for a creative genius with an eye for page layout to join our growing Innovation team. Let us know if that’s you! Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, flexible person with strong design skills and marketing knowledge. The primary role of the Graphic Designer – Presentation/Proposal Specialist is to create, develop, design, and plan presentations, proposals, reports, and other marketing collateral to support a wide range of marketing and business development activities. In addition, we are seeing a candidate who is extremely comfortable and proficient working in PowerPoint as well as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience working in a corporate environment, or the Aviation or Construction industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
· Transform content from an outline to visually appealing and impactful presentations in PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides, etc.
· Have a good eye for design and aesthetics to create well thought out presentations
· Design compelling, accurate and engaging data visualizations that tell stories
· Condense presentation content and represent it succinctly and cleanly for the desired audience
· Develop and maintain a “library” of different templates, layouts and visualizations that can easily be adapted and used by non-designers
· Coordinate and develop high-quality and effective corporate graphic and marketing materials
· Interview subject matter experts and write/edit technical content for presentations
· Work under pressure and handle a wide range of tasks and projects at the same time
· Uphold brand guidelines and have strong knowledge of design standards
Qualifications
· 2 years doing presentation design at a media, marketing, branding, or advertising agency
· Must be proficient Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
· Possess intimate knowledge of presentation programs such as, PowerPoint and Canva
· Experience with project management tools is a plus: Wrike, Google Drive, Notion, Microsoft Teams
· Degree in Graphic Design or Marketing is a plus
· Work samples required
· Works to meet deadlines and is driven to closure; able to work long days and/or weekends when necessary to meet deadlines
· Quality control skills, attention to detail is a must
· Embraces life-long learning, strives to stay current with new industry trends and practices
