Scope Technical is Hiring a CNC Operator Near Toccoa, GA

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator. As a CNC Operator you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify conformance to specifications
- Make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines or programming
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
- Proficient in operating CNC machines and programming software
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Skills:
- Proficiency in press operations
- Experience with CNC machines, micrometers, and calipers
- Knowledge of logic controllers and hand tools
- Strong programming skills for CNC machines
- Familiarity with warehouse operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.91 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
