Job Description

Position Summary:

To expand and enhance the Company's top line revenue through direct sales to prospects, diligent lead generation, relationship building and maintenance with prospective clients; to identify and address prospective and existing opportunities for marketing the company's programs; and to ensure sales goals, objectives, and profit margins are met.

Duties:

  • Identifies, develops and maintains relationships with prospective clients; documenting same in the Company’s systems
  • Builds relationships with prospects through cold calls, trade shows and other lead development efforts
  • Generates new recurring revenue sales; facilitates transition from sales to the implementation process ensuring a smooth transition of new client programs
  • Develops the detailed knowledge of individual prospect operations targeting specific needs which may be opportunities for selling the Company’s services
  • Ensures the identification of expertise required during the sales process, addressing individual prospect requirements
  • Schedules, creates and delivers responses for RFPs, proposals, and presentations
  • Participates in the development of sales plans and services
  • Prepares monthly sales and pipeline reports with revenue forecasts for discussion with management
  • Meets annual sales goals
  • Supports the organization's quality program(s)
  • Attends trade and industry events as required
  • Travels as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor's degree with major in Business Administration, Information Technology or Systems Management or equivalent. 
  • Ten years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and CRM or sales management tools
  • Excellent ability to manage the sales process
  • Excellent ability to coordinate team members as needed to facilitate onsite assessments; product demonstrations and implementation discussions with clients
  • Excellent ability to prepare written proposals, contracts and reports
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales goals
