Job Summary:
B.A.T. Consulting and CPA's is seeking a full-time tax accountant to join the team in our Doylestown, PA offices. We are a firm committed to providing our clients with excellent, accurate, and client focused services. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to grow their skills in the tax preparation and accounting areas. Requirements:
- CPA or Enrolled Agent license required
- 3 to 5 years experience in the following:
* Preparation of individual and business tax returns
*Tax software; Ultra Tax CS a plus
* Year-end accounting and workpaper preparation
* QuickBooks Desktop and Online
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially with regard to client communications

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Conscientious, detail oriented, and self-motivated
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Understands the importance of maintaining and building client relationships
- Ability to work additional hours during tax season

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of federal and state individual and businesses tax returns
- Preparation of business year-end accounting and closings
- Communicate directly with clients for the accurate preparation of returns prior to submitting for technical review
- Manage deadlines, workflow, and coordinate directly with tax manager
- Assist with tax planning and related tax research
- Respond to federal and state tax notices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
