The roles and responsibilities of a truck pusher include but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate good leadership skills.
• Share knowledge and equip others within the organization with the skills necessary for them to succeed.
• Supervise drivers and laborers. Train and re-train as needed.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with all members within the organization.
• Complete daily work tickets, paperwork, reports as well as document any other important information as needed.
• Proficiently use email and other computer software
• Delegate productive tasks to others when work is slow.
• Ensure drivers comply with company standards regarding paperwork and caring for their assigned equipment.
• Communicate professionally and honestly with customers and assist in developing a plan to complete their project efficiently and safely.
• Use critical thinking skills to problem solve challenging situations.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environments by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
• Coordinate and manage employees and schedules based on project needs.
• Be available and on call 24/7 and report to work in short notice.
• Collaborate with management team in developing processes and solutions.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with management regarding jobs, hazards, needs, employees, areas of concern, etc.
• Work closely with dispatcher to coordinate customer needs, personnel, and equipment.
