Experienced, Passionate, Prep/Line Cook Needed at Farm-to-Table Restaurant
The Crown is looking for an ambitious Prep/Line Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in our kitchen. Excellent knife skills, the ability to work independently and within a team, taking initiative, and working efficiently a must. We're a farm to table restaurant and all foods are prepared from fresh, local ingredients and cooked to order. You’ll perform routine kitchen tasks such as setting up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes. A great prep/line cook will be quick and diligent, thoughtful and deft, and able to follow instructions and recipes as well as follow all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment. We're are a small, busy kitchen and need someone who can work cohesively with our current team. Previous experience working in an active kitchen a must.
