Our client is seeking a motivated HR Manager to join their team in Northern Indiana. We are a prominent player in the manufacturing and production industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers worldwide. Our Northern Indiana location offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our Human Resources team.

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a motivated HR professional to join our team in Northern Indiana. This role will involve collaborating with various departments and leading HR initiatives to support our operations effectively. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a strong commitment to integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and tools for our Northern Indiana location.
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Human Resources to customize organizational HR policies to suit the specific needs of the Northern Indiana facility.
  • Conduct on-site employee training and facilitate HR management responses, including plans and Standard Operating Procedures aligned with company standards.
  • Provide expert HR advice across all levels of staff, overseeing functions such as workforce planning, recruitment, and staff administration management.
  • Participate in departmental activities, including continuous education, engagement in annual conferences, and research initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 5 years of experience in Human Resources Management required.
  • HR Professional Certification (SPHR) or SHRM-SPC is a plus.
  • Experience in multi-site HR management is highly valued, with a manufacturing background being a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures, with proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Union experience is a plus.
  • A strong background in employee engagement is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
