As a DSP, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care, assistance and Personal care to Developmentally Disabled adults in a direct care role. Experience is preferred but not necessary.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

1. Work as a team in Person-Centered Team: attend staff meetings, in-service training, support & respect co-workers and follow instructions of the Head of the house.

2. Perform and Maintain Good work habits: Self-motivated, professional appearance to the company guidelines, flexible with changing person needs, fill out documentation effectively and timely, & maintain confidentiality.

3. Embrace Heartland philosophy and mission: Initiates use of community resources to Community participation and advocates for and supports persons.

Pay: From $15.94 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
