We are a small IT firm in the S. Puget Sound area seeking a talented, reliable tech to join our team that is able to perform end-to-end support for Small to Medium sized local businesses. Duties will include a mix of field work onsite at customer locations and remote support work performed out of our office in Tacoma. Typical duties include:
-Making sure all clients receive great Customer Service
-Staffing Helpdesk remote support shifts and triaging support phone calls
-Performing Jack of All Trades IT Support for small to medium businesses
-Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware, software, and networking issues
-Set up, install and configure customer computer hardware, software, and networking equipment in varying environments
-Troubleshoot and resolve Line of Business software issues with the help of vendor IT support
-Assist in improving and streamlining company standards and processes
-Assist Engineers with Server hardware configuration and setup
-Perform Windows Active Directory administration tasks
-Perform Office365 mailbox and MS Outlook administration
-Have a strong working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and other essential IP network services
-Managing and maintaining network backup solutions
-Managing network antivirus, firewall, and security solutions
-Wireless technologies
-Providing desktop support to business owners and users
-Basic Phone Systems administration and troubleshooting
-Network cabling and patch panel/rack setup
If you have working experience in the areas listed above please send a resume and your salary requirements asap! We are particularly interested in anyone who has experience servicing multiple small businesses (MSP or IT shop experience) doing outsourced IT support.
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years working experience performing most of the above-stated duties in production environments. Starting rate is 55K DOE for qualifying candidates with lots of room for growth from there. Candidates that show aptitude and proficiency with Servers and Networks will be offered opportunities to be promoted into Network Admin or Network Engineer positions if interested.
