Dewhirst, Dolven & Parker LLC  is a regional civil litigation insurance defense firm with an opening for an associate  attorney on our Utah team. Pay will be based on experience.

This position is for an attorney with a demonstrated history of handling litigation cases. The successful candidate will be familiar with Utah civil procedure and law. A high level of integrity is a must as well as a willingness to work with a team. This attorney will be required to research legal issues and comply with all legal standards and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in civil litigation preferred
• Utah Bar License required
• Insurance defense experience preferred
• Strong research, writing, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong internet as this position is largely remote.

• Prepare and participate in legal hearings, depositions, and trial.
• Prepare briefs.
• Motion practice and oral argument
• Prepare and participate in mediation, arbitration and settlement negotiations.
