Our core mission is to delight our customers and turn them into Raving fans. We are seeking a talented and motivated Account Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Under the direct supervision of the management team, the Account Support Specialist will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly. Additionally, your collaboration with internal teams will enable the sharing of valuable insights and strategies to drive continuous improvement and maximize business opportunities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide day-to-day support to management and the customer service team.
  • Act as a part of a designated account team for specific key clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Coordinate implementation of new clients, including plan design, formulary management, and member communication strategies, to ensure a smooth transition and successful onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, pharmacy services, and account management, to address client needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Complete reporting and data requirements based on client and team needs.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting escalated items related to claims, eligibility, and general account maintenance.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Act as the liaison between the customer and all internal departments to ensure that all the patient’s questions and prescription needs are met. Transfer calls to specialized departments, as necessary.
  • Field incoming calls from patients, providers, insurance companies, manufacturers, etc.
  • Intimately learn all aspects of our product, business, and processes.
  • Adhere to and maintain all compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate prescription medications and research lowest cost options.
  • Develop a working knowledge of pharmacy dispensing regulations, data systems, billing practices and policies, and standard medical abbreviations and terminology.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Healthcare or pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Account coordinator/management experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Share Point, One Note, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently, under general supervision.
  • Ability and desire to learn and adapt within a rapidly growing business.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload to efficiently meet established deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong phone presence in a support/service capacity
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software.
  • Ability to work to 8:00 pm some weekdays and an occasional Saturday.
