Fisherman's Post is looking for a qualified, motivated candidate for a part-time position (potential to be full-time) to help with our marketing/promotion efforts and assist in the overall success of our events.

Responsibilities

• Manage our social media and other marketing/promotional efforts to boost brand awareness, increase customer engagement, grow event participation and sales leads, and build a strong web [presence
• Create content, including text, images, and video/audio
• Assist in planning, promoting, preparing for, staging, and maintaining all aspects of our events (primarily fishing tournaments and fishing schools)
• Develop sponsorship/advertising/funding opportunities and solicit sponsors/advertisers/funding
• Service existing accounts and establish new accounts
• Help update and maintain our digital content

Skills and Abilities

• Social media experience for business (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube)
• Graphic design, mostly with Photoshop and Canva
• Event experience, including planning, managing, and hosting
• Customer service
• Sales (inside or outside or both)
• Highly organized and able to multitask
• Constant Contact and WordPress (preferred but not required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
