We are hiring compassionate and dependable Caregiver to aid our client. The preferred candidate should have the physical strength and ability to safely and seamlessly facilitate transfer of the client weighing around 170 - 180 lbs, prioritizing the client's well-being and dignity. The caregiver must hold an active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the State of New Jersey and be vaccinated for COVID-19.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide personal care, Incontinence care, assistance with activities of daily living.
• Provide support for mobility, transfers, and positioning to client.
• Provide companionship to client.
• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation.
• Assist client with medication reminders.
• Encourage and support client to maintain as much independence as possible.
• Adhere to care plans crafted by the RN.
• Maintain care-notes for accurate and timely records of care.
• Adhere to infection control and safety policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Must have active Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in New Jersey.
• At least a year of proven experience in delivering personal care.
• Excellent communication skills and a knack for fostering positive relationships with clients and their families.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation for visiting client at their home.
• Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to delivering exceptional care.

Additional Requirements:

• Updated physical examination and PPD (tuberculosis) test completed within the last 12 months.
• Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccination.
• Valid Social Security Number (SSN) and valid Immigration Documents, as applicable.
