Are you passionate about podcasting, love working with kids and want to make great money doing both? Musical Minds Academy is excited to offer podcasting instructor positions in the Los Angeles area for those looking to inspire young minds through the popular media form!

With us, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Earn excellent pay instructing students in public, charter and independent schools on how to research a topic for their podcast, as well as planning/recording a podcast episode of their own.
• Guide and manage groups of middle school-aged students from 6th-8th grade.
• Develop effective classroom control techniques.
• Demonstrate relevant recording/research techniques and concepts with confidence and skill, while making lessons fun for students.
• Design creative lesson plans that engage students and establish clear learning goals.
• Prepare students for a rewarding chance to showcase their podcasts at the end of the course.

• Reliable transportation.
• Availability for daytime-afternoon classes on weekdays.
• Participation in training sessions and staff meetings.
• Consistent communication through email, text, and phone.
• Successful completion of a Livescan DOJ background check and TB test.

Compensation: $50-$70/hour for teaching hours. Training sessions and other non- instructional responsibilities will be paid at $25/hour.

Schedule: At least (3) hours/week of availability required.

Experience: At least (2) years of prior teaching experience required.

Note: Experience in media communications, special education, childhood development, childhood education, behavior management, tutoring is a plus, but not required.
