Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat patients
• Set up operatory rooms prior to procedures
• Sterilize dental instruments
• Chairside assist dentist during procedures
• Take x rays digitally and complete lab tasks, under the direction of a dentist
• Keep records of dental treatments
• Answer and educate patients on treatment

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- X-ray certified
- Attention to detail and accuracy in communicating with patients and co-workers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

This position requires working at a fast paced dental office, so it is essential to have excellent communication skills to interact with patients and co-workers. The dental assistant should be able to make patients feel comfortable.

We are looking for someone who has experience working as a dental assistant, but also willing to learn new techniques and work together as a team.

Dental x-ray certification is required and expanded functions experience is welcomed!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
