Responsiblities:

Promotes quality and continuity of care by performing clinical and clerical duties, providing physician and/or nurse assistance, maintaining supplies, and provides effective communication to achieve Infirmary Health's standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes.

• Patient assesssment and physical exam
• Collecting samples and draw blood for lab testing (as needed)
• Perform EKG's, vision screeings, hearing tests
• Reconcile medications and submit refill requests to pharmacy
• Schedule patient for diagnostic testing/procedures
• Manage specialty referrals
• Clean and stock exam rooms

Minimum Qualifications:

One of the following:

• Completion of Medical Assistant program
• 2 of the most recent 4 years’ experience working as a Medical Assistant

Basic knowledge of electronic medical records

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• BLS

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
