Clarion Hotel is looking for a Server

Must be available to work weekends

Description of duties:

• Greeting and seating customers
• Taking orders and paying attention to details
• Serving food and beverages
• Keeping the bar and restaurant clean, stocked, and sanitized
• Maintaining cleanliness of work area and premises
• Performing side work as needed (e.g., prep work, sweeping, mopping)
• Performing opening closing duties as assigned (e.g., setting up, running errands)

Experience:

• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to follow instructions. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to multitask and work under pressure. Must be able to follow health safety standards and safety rules. Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to follow directions and learn new skills as needed. Must be able to handle money; have reliable transportation; have valid driver’s license; can pass a background check; have a good attendance record; possess a warm, friendly demeanor; have a positive attitude; possess the ability to interact well with customers; possess the ability to multitask under pressure; have the ability to work independently and as part of a team; have attention-to-detail; have flexibility in hours worked; enjoy working in a fast-paced environment; have excellent customer service skills; have excellent math skills; enjoy talking with people; enjoy being part of a team!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.83 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
