Brean Capital is seeking a Level 2/3 Desktop Support Technician to join our Desktop Support Team. This position is based in our Memphis, TN office. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all desktop equipment and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer support escalation tickets promptly, providing high-level technical support and documenting resolutions daily.
- Provide on-site & remote support with issues ranging from simple desktop configuration, desktop and laptop imaging, package deployment and patch management.
- Manage user-facing Group Policy.
- Actively collaborate in the development and maintenance of IT Support processes.
- Identify infrastructure system needs and providing feedback for development.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a technology/IT related field
- Microsoft Windows, Server, Active Directory, Exchange, & SQL
- Terminal Services setup and configuration
- Microsoft Windows
- Microsoft Office 365 including Azure, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, GPO and Domain Controllers
- Wireless Network Configuration & Troubleshooting
- Printer/Scanner Setup & Configuration
- Experience with patch management, software deployment and desktop / laptop imaging software
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 2- or 4-year degree in a Computer Science/Engineering area of study
- Experience working for an IT consulting or computer services company
- Microsoft/ CompTIA certifications (A , N , Security , MCP, ACP)
- VPN implementation
- Knowledge of VMware is preferred
