Full Job Description
*********************** NEW VERO BEACH LOCATION**************************
Zudans Eye is seeking a Surgical Coordinator. Professional customer service skills, team player and a friendly and enthusiastic attitude are required.
Duties include:
- Acts as liaison between the patient and surgeon in all aspects of pre-operative preparations
- Schedule all patient surgeries
- Prepare surgery folders and post-op kits
- Collects and confirms information for upcoming surgery such as insurance authorizations, signed consents and lens choice
- Explains the surgical process to patients and families and answers questions
- Some front desk responsibilities are included
Other:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- One year of EHR experience preferred (ModMed prefered)
- Customer service one year preferred
- Proficient use of technology required
- Previous experience preferred
- Ability to pivot quickly and think on your feet
- Training on-site
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- 4-5 days per week
