Weymouth Landing Cat Clinic is a feline-only veterinary hospital committed to patient and client care, and we are ready to hire a boarding attendant/veterinary assistant to join our fantastic team!

 This position is essential to the clinic's daily operations by:

• Providing daily care in the boarding facility, including feeding, attention, administering medications, and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment
• Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures
• Maintaining accurate records of animal care, treatment plans, and boarding details
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all cats in the clinic
• Communicating effectively with cat owners, providing updates and information on their pet’s status and care
• Communicating effectively between the boarding facility and veterinary staff
• Assisting in the maintenance of clinic cleanliness and organization
• Maintaining specific laundry standards

The ideal candidate will have a strong love for cats, a commitment to uncompromised patient care, and:

• Previous experience working with animals, specifically cats, in a professional setting
• Strong understanding of feline behavior and care requirements
• Ability to handle cats gently and confidently, even in stressful situations
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
