This is an entry-level, plant position in the Operations Department. Utility Operators's are hired to operate tractor trailers and / or front-end loaders to support the petcoke handling operation.

In addition to equipment operation, the position also requires physical work such as shoveling, general plant housekeeping, yard work and painting.

Reports to and takes daily direction from the Operations Manager. Conducts work in a safe manner, adhering to all plant rules and procedures including all applicable ISO 14001 Environmental requirements.

Job Duties Operations of industrial mobile equipment (tractor trailers, lift trucks, front-end loaders, skid steer etc.) Plant housekeeping.

Barge loading. Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or designee. Participates in pre-shift safety and operations meetings daily.
