Job Title: Event Coordinator

Department: Events & Marketing

Reports to: Sales and Marketing Manager Effective Date: 7/15/2024

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing tasks throughout the event planning process. Planning and organizing events to ensure events run smoothly and meet the client’s and organization’s objectives.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Scheduling activities with local schools such as field trips, fundraisers and proms

· Working as the main contact for local schools

· Helping with the set-up needs of events

· Planning event details and all aspects of signature events, corporate events and school outings

· Organizing and facilitating promotional booths at facility and out in the community

· Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event

· Maintaining a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events

· Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards

· Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems

· Serve as Manager-on-Duty for events as assigned

· Working with the events team to ensure success of all events

· Other duties as assigned

· The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.

· The ability to work under pressure.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

· Professional deminer in all aspects of the workplace

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university in Business/Hospitality Management or related field

· 2-3 years’ experience in parties and event planning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Event planning: 2 years (Preferred)
• Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
