• Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes
• Ability to run jobs, lead and coordinate with minimal guidance
• Safely and efficiently perform excavation, grading, and earthmoving tasks on residential and commercial construction sites
• Prepare construction sites by clearing, grading, and leveling the terrain
• Ensure proper compaction of fill materials to meet project specifications
• Load, unload, and move materials within the construction site using heavy equipment
• Coordinate the transportation and distribution materials to align with specific projects
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Communicate effectively using two-way radios and other communication tools

• Minimum 10 years' experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in commercial construction excavating
• Valid commercial driver's license, CDL A is highly preferred
• Proficient with GPS technology is highly preferred
• Land clearing experience is preferred but willing to train
• Knowledge of excavation and grading techniques
• Ability to interpret project plans and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and perform strenuous tasks
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
