Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Part Time Bench Jeweler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewelry making, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work on a variety of custom projects. As a Bench Jeweler, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and modifying jewelry pieces, ensuring the highest quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create custom jewelry pieces based on client specifications and company standards.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including resizing rings, resetting stones, soldering, and polishing.
• Perform timepiece basic services such as polishing.
• Modify existing jewelry pieces as needed.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all pieces meet our high standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in jewelry making.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bench Jeweler, with a portfolio showcasing custom work.
• Proficiency in various jewelry making techniques, including soldering, stone setting, and metalworking.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry design principles.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification in jewelry making is a plus.
