Stable Hall, located at Pearl Brewery in San Antonio, is a new 1,000 capacity music venue opening in January 2024. Built as a horse stable 1894, it has seen three centuries on its journey to become a state-of-the-art music venue that channels both a classic theater and a Texas dance hall. The programming will feature national, regional and local artists in all genres and brings a commitment to showcase and energize San Antonio’s rich past and present music culture. As an Usher at Stable Hall, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our patrons.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Ushers. As an Usher at Stable Hall, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our guests by providing assistance, guidance, and exceptional customer service during events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
• Greet and assist patrons with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Provide information about event schedules, seating arrangements, and venue facilities.
• Direct guests to their seats in a friendly manner
• Direct guests to the proper ticket level whether upstairs or downstairs
• Ticket Scanning and Seating:
• Scan tickets at entry points and direct patrons to their designated seats.
• Assist in managing and maintaining an organized and efficient seating arrangement.
• Crowd Control:
• Monitor crowd flow and assist in managing lines during entry and exit.
• Ensure a safe and orderly environment for all patrons.
• Assistance to Patrons:
• Assist patrons with special needs, including providing wheelchair assistance if necessary.
• Address and resolve any guest concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Event Information:
• Stay informed about upcoming events, performers, and venue policies to provide accurate information to patrons.
• Emergency Response:
• Be familiar with emergency procedures and protocols.
• Assist in the implementation of emergency response plans if required.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the venue's event schedule.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move light objects.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
