The Tiki Bar Cook at Chateau Beachfront Resort, BW Signature Collection in Panama City Beach, Florida is responsible for creating and preparing delicious, high-quality food for guests at the resort's Tiki Bar. This full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry is ideal for an experienced cook looking to join a highly-rated resort and showcase their culinary skills. This is an individual contributor role, providing a great opportunity for those who are self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes and drinks from our Tiki Bar menu, following proper recipes and presentation techniques.
- Ensure food orders are accurately prepared and served in a timely manner, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Keep the kitchen and Tiki Bar area clean and well-maintained, following health and safety standards.
- Monitor and track inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen and waitstaff team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Train and mentor new kitchen staff members as needed.
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a cook, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or resort setting.
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, safety and sanitation standards, and proper use of kitchen equipment.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
